Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
50 Cent: Bulletproof is gritty urban action as 50 Cent and G-Unit shoot their way through an army of drug dealers. After being shot 9 times, 50 crawls from out of the jaws of death, to get revenge. Working with his G-Unit soldiers - Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, and Young Buck - 50 takes on the most powerful gangs and crime syndicates in the city. It's a web of corruption, double-crosses, and shady deals - but 50 has the guts and the ammo to shoot through it and get the men who almost killed him.

1 out of 5 stars Possibly the worst game I ever purchased   December 21, 2008
Mz. Syk D (Los Angeles, CA)
Perhaps half the problem is I'm not a huge 50 Cent fan anymore like I used to be. Anyway, I love 3rd person shooters especially if they have that "urban" hip hop type feel. Since I do respect 50's hustle and do like some of his music, I figured this game would be a nice fit...also the fact Eminem and Dr. Dre, two of my favorites, were playable characters in one of the modes caught my interest.

Boy......I rather just watch the cutscenes on youtube than play this mindless game because the cut scenes, voice acting, and graphics are the ONLY good thing about this game! The gameplay was absolutely horrible. No auto aim made it nearly impossible to cap the enemies running all over the place and you're G-Unit "homies" can never die. So...if you stand in the corner and let them cap everyone for you, you pretty much don't have to do anything. There are small puzzles you are supposed to complete, but they are also mindless and too boring. It is just running to this place, shooting this item, then entering a room. That's the whole freakin' game. Trying to shoot people, shooting few because it's so hard to aim and letting your homies do most of the work whether you want them to or not, and entering doors. Boring! Did I mention every single level looks THE SAME?! And don't expect a sandbox game where you can run all over the place. Nope you're confined to small looking gritty areas of "New York" that all look the same and feel more forced of a representation than a mini half-pint Batman Gotham City. After literally 20 minutes I was bored out of my mind. I played it the rest of the day, but couldn't stand it and returned it for half of my money back the next day. Trust me, even a penny back for turning this stupid game back in was worth it!

Stick with GTA if you like 3rd person shooters or even True Crime, which is 50000000 times better than this game and isn't even the best game itself. If you like hip hop and want one of those kind of games, get Def Jam: Fight for NY or Vendetta. Just whatever you do, 50 fan or not, stay AWAY from this junk. I think the Monsters Inc game my mom's friend gave me by accident is better than this piece of $@!#!

1 out of 5 stars Mindless shooter and over all horrible   August 10, 2007
Edoro
If you're into games with gameplay much like Truecrime: Streets of LA, you might. And I do mean, MIGHT. Like this game. But nearly everywhere you turn in this thing it's him plugging his vitamin water or music or just trying to show that he is some type of god because he can rap. This whole game is just cashing even more in on his fame. Totally lame. It's like just showing off everything and anything he can in this game. Eminem was hilarious in the game though. He won this game an extra star in the fun rating in this review.

If you want a better game that is cheap and somewhat the same concept. Get Truecrime: Streets of LA and put in the Snoopdogg cheat. Then you can play a rapper with no annoying ads about him floating around and actually drive around a fully made map too.

Oh yes, and thank god I rented it rather then buying.

Stepson says the game is worth getting so I am letting you know! (I have not played it, but he is the 'super gamer' in the house.

3 out of 5 stars An ok game   December 14, 2006
This game was ok enough, and it would be considered average. And to "heavymetalninja", I hope you realize you make "metal" fans look like trolls and idiots. You're close minded to the genre of rap/hip-hop, and you should actually listen to the artists and more into the genre.
