Fun to play and good conceived... January 2, 2009 GCh (Guatemala, CA) I have to give this game a 5 star because it's a very good game even without some things that could be improved. I'm at the middle of the missions and I have years of playing video games in many platforms. If you like games like Call Of Duty, this is for you: What I like: 1 - not a hard game from the beginning, you learn to play as you accomplish the missions (good learning curve) 2 - it has bosses at the end of some stages, I didn't expected from this kind of story line based game. 3 - can also use machine gun and missiles 4 - can fight against helicopters 5 - You can destroy flying missiles. It's true that has some issues in the language and not enough freedom to fly but it's a wonderful job made by the programmers. It worth the money you pay, but you must like the movie because it's very related to it.
Very fun game!!! July 11, 2008 Oraib Kanaan (Amman, Jordan) This is a wonderfull game, good graphics, story, controlls... The controls are very challenging and makes you feel as if you are actually iron-man!!! it is a short game though. And it has some bad language, but in overall it is a great game!! i recomend this game to absolutlly anyone!!
This is not my favorite game. July 1, 2008 pippy longstocking 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this game after the Iron Man movie, I thought it would be like 20 missions. I was able to finish it in two days though. If you get a new iron man suit it is the same as the other suits. There's no check points. There's no free play. And you cant get the villain suits like iron monger. I wouldn't recommend this game because of low replayability.
Another lame cash-in attempt June 21, 2008 N. Durham (Philadelphia, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Whenever there's a big budget movie on the horizon, especially one adapted from a comic book, you can almost always bet on a video game tie-in being somewhere in the distance as well. Well, here's Iron Man, and yes, it is nothing else but another lame cash-in attempt that fails to do its comic and movie counterparts any kind of justice. Playing as 'ol shellhead, you take down wave after wave of baddies, with an occasional boss battle thrown in now and then for good measure. Naturally, what kills Iron Man is the fact that the game as a whole is a tedious bore. You have objectives, you take down the bad guys, etc, etc. The whole game is just so repetitive that it pretty much kills anything good about it. Combine this with some frustrating controls and disappointing graphics (and some just plain awful cut-scenes), and you get what we have here. There are some good points to be found, including the fact that the moments of flying around are pretty okay, there's unlockable extra armors, and film stars Robert Downey Jr. and Terrance Howard provide their own voices as well. All in all, whether you are a fan of the comic or the film, the Iron Man video game may be worth a look, but in the end, the game is best left on the shelf.
great game!!! May 11, 2008 C. Burklund 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Like i said it is a great game but there is alot of swearing and i dont like that. Other wise it is a great game the graphics arent bad but there not amazing either. I agree on the freedom thing you really dont get that much freedom but i can deal with that.
