Bayonetta -now on sale for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

The new great work created following the pact between SEGA (producer and distributor) and Platinum Games (developer), Bayonetta, has finally gone on sale officially in Europe on Friday 8th January. It is available in two versions for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360: a basic edition and a collector edition. The latter includes a special case, the original soundtrack and an artbook.

This ambitious title tells his back with renowned personalities in the video game world, as Hideki Kamiya (Devil May Cry, Okami, Viewtiful Joe), Mari Shimazaki (Okami, Under the Skin), Masami Ueda (Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3, Okami), and Akari Kaida (Resident Evil, Breath of Fire, Onimusha 3), among many other talents. Although it is a title whose Achilles heel is its duration, the fact is that has actually been acclaimed by both fans and the media. This is due to several factors that are represented by both film history and atmosphere as its gameplay, collecting everything seen in Devil May Cry series and polishing, thus offering a multitude of combos accompanied by an excellent fluidity in the movements of the protagonist. The music is another asset for, issues such as Fly Me to the Moon or In for the Kill are versioned and adapted to give rhythm and life to the game. To make matters worse, the book hides many winks to SEGA titles, Okami and Devil May Cry, among others.

Vigrid Set in a fictional town in Europe, the main character is Bayonetta, a witch who changes shape at will and has the power to slow down over time. After awakening from its slumber as punishment, our “Sorciere fatale will face hordes from the heavens to gradually recover his memory and find out what the reason has placed in the middle of a confrontation between the factions of witches and sages.
